EventMagnet

EventMagnet is a social networking tool designed to bring communities together through common activities. Other social networking sites mimic real life; EventMagnet extends it by providing a central site for users and community members to interact and find events of similar interest. EventMagnet includes a sophisticated search algorithm to actively recommend events that users may be interested in, providing them with immediate access to the communities around them.

Perihelium

Perihelium is a web application which makes use of the S5 format to provide a standards-compliant web-based presentation system. Perihelium allows users to make and share presentations with their friends and the public using a built-in WYSIWYG editor. In addition to being shown online, Presentations made with Perihelium can be exported and shown offline. Perihelium presentations even allow multiple authors so a team can work on a presentation together.

Sparks

Sparks is an event-driven toolkit written in Javascript. Built on the proven reliability of MochiKit, Sparks makes it easy to implement complex front ends. Instead of providing developers with an arbitrary set of premade widgets, Sparks provides you with the tools to make your own. Sparks was created to fulfill EventMagnet's frontend requirements.

Ignition

Ignition is a single login system originally designed so that users could have the same username across all of Geekfire's products. The system is implemented so that login requests are made over a secure channel by the application so that users do not have to be redirected to a separate Login page when using an Ignition-enabled site. Ignition provides a simple API so that other non-Geekfire applications can use the same usernames and basic information. If you would like to become a Ignition-enabled site please contact us.
